Why A Little Bit Of Thought Can Make A Whole Lot Of Difference When It Comes To Your First Suit

Business suits, formal wear for weddings, tuxedos, and all the other different styles of suits you can find out there all have one thing in common: they look best when they are suited for you and only you. It can be hard to know how to find a suit that fits your style and look, and a lot of men don't realise that not everything that is advertised to them actually will look good on them. Knowing your strengths and weaknesses is key to finding a suit that fits well and looks like it was made for you. Here are three things you should consider when choosing anything from business suits to tuxedos.

Match It To Your Hair Colour

Now, this might sound a bit odd, but your hair is very important when it comes to the type of clothing you look good in. If you choose clothing that doesn't match well with your hair, then it becomes very obvious and will make you stick out a bit more. Generally, for suits, people with lighter coloured hair want to stick to similarly bright and patterned suits, such as light blues, greys, or even white if the occasion calls for it! Brunettes can pull off darker tones much better without looking so pale. Of course, if you want to play it safe, then a simple black suit with no patterns looks good on everybody.

Get It Fitted

Even if you buy your business suits for as cheap as you possibly can, which there is no shame in doing so, spending a little bit of extra money to get your suits hemmed by a tailor can make the world of difference. A cheap suit can look far better on you than an expensive, designer alternative if it is fitted to your size perfectly. Moreso than any other type of clothing, suits need to fit the person that is wearing them down to the millimetre, and it doesn't cost a lot to get this service performed.

Avoid Trends

Trends and fads spring up fast and then just as quickly disappear from public consciousness. If you are unlucky enough to buy a piece of clothing that was in a hyped trend, then you now have it stashed away at the back of your closet and are probably don't bring it out very often. The photos you have will also look very outdated, whereas timeless suits with simple accessories will look good no matter what era they are in. Suits are not meant to be the most flashy or trendy outfit, they are valued because of their clean look and the aura of formality they give off.
